Participate in the European Year of Skills 2023

The European Year of Skills, which began on May 9, 2023, and will last for 12 months, presents a great opportunity to address skills gaps in the European Union and strengthen the EU Skills Agenda. The goal is to support people in getting the right skills for quality jobs, while also demonstrating national efforts to support enterprises, particularly small and medium-sized ones. Also, this initiative will promote other skills-related activities and events throughout Europe.

As many great initiatives deserving a spotlight are taking place on the ground, we invite you to register your events on the map of the European Year of Skills website via the EU survey. By adding your events, visitors to the official website can discover and participate in activities taking place in their home countries.

On the other hand, a call for skills stories was launched to promote projects and personal experiences linked to skills. These stories are being published in the “On the Ground” section, serving as inspiration for others and encouraging them to make a positive impact or become part of meaningful change.
