Volunteering Festival

Paralimni is home to a vibrant ecosystem of volunteering groups, from the dynamic Paralimni Youth Council to local traditional dance groups and Scout organisations. This event will be a celebration of volunteering and civic engagement, showcasing the diversity and impact of local volunteering.

The day will take place in an open space, transformed into a hub. Each volunteering group will host a stall to present their work, share their values, and connect with the public. Through presentations, creative showcases, and informal conversations, visitors will have the chance to learn more about each organisation and discover ways to get involved.

A dedicated Erasmus+ information point will be available throughout the event, offering insights into opportunities for both individuals and organisations. There will be opportunity for an interactive presentation on Erasmus+ programmes as well.

The day will conclude with a celebratory party – bringing together volunteers, visitors, and the wider community to honour local engagement.
