This event is dedicated to presenting the Erasmus+ project “ECOTEACH – Teaching Science and Maths through Innovative Models of Environment-Based Learning for Disadvantaged Schools and Students.” During the event, we will introduce the project’s objectives, highlight the first results – including a Framework of Learning Outcomes for teacher development – and showcase how Environment-Based Learning (EBL) can foster inclusive and innovative teaching of science and mathematics. The program will feature expert presentations, teacher perspectives, and interactive sessions, offering participants practical insights into applying EBL in disadvantaged school contexts. The event will also be streamed live on Facebook to reach the wider educational community and will include the following presentations: Introduction to ECOTEACH (goals, partners, vision etc.), Presentation of the Learning Outcomes Framework for teacher development in science and mathematics through Environment-Based Learning (EBL), Panel/Round Table discussion with educators and experts on inclusive STEM teaching in disadvantaged schools. Q&A and Closing Session, with reflections and next steps for the project.
