Silesian diacony will join Erasmus Days in few events. In the centers of Silesian diacony will be realized The week of the good actions, the 7th-11th October 2024 (during The week of the social services). On this event will also participate the Moravian-Sileasian Employment Pact. The main idea of The week of the good actions is approach the students from different schools in Moravian-Silesian region to joint this week. They will have the opportunity to perform good deeds in the Silesian diacony centers for people in needs. Silesian diacony provide miscellaneous social services therefore the suggestions of good deeds are very varied and creative (see brochure). The studets will have opportunity to visit Silesian diacony centers and take the time and creative activities to people in unfavorable life situations. The inspiration to organize The week of good actions were the study visits in Daikonija Latvija – LELB Diakonijas centrs in Riga in Latvia and Diakonhejmmet in Oslo in Norway. Both visits were support by Erasmus in the frameworkt of the project Best practices in HR and PR for supporting the attractivity of professions in social services – the Programme K2. The week of good actions will be followed by these events as a part of the Erasmus days celebration: – Round table (16th October) – the main aim of the Round table will be evaluation of the activities realized within the Erasmus project as well as successfulness of The week of good actions. This week will be organized in Silesian diacony for the first time. The Round table will be participated the heads of the Silesian diacony centers which will be supported by the students and their good actions, the representatives of the Moravian-Silesian Employment Pact which will be actively participated on the organization of The week of the good actions. The last participant of this event will be the representatives of the management of the Silesian diacony. – Video spot (15th October) – the main aim of this activity will be creation of the video spot which will be mapping The week of good actions in the Silesian diacony centers. The spot will be broadcasted on the Silesian diacony YouTube canal. – Podcast (17th October) – the podcast will be about all activities realized during the Erasmus project as well as The week of the good actions. The participants of the podcast will share their experiences and examples of good practices. We are sure that it could be a very good inspiration for the other social service providers, the other employers, the schools and the public.
