SkillsElevate – Elevating Skills for Sustainable and Competitive Growth

„SkillsElevate – Elevating Skills for Sustainable and Competitive Growth“ will present current and past initiatives aimed at strengthening the workforce’s skills, with a special focus on micro-credentials, as well as the growing demand for green and digital competences to support sustainable growth and the competitiveness of Bulgarian industry. SkillsElevate will bring together representatives from institutions, universities, business, and experts to exchange perspectives and explore pathways for building the skills of the future.

Emerging from the understanding that the green and digital transitions are unattainable without a skilled workforce, SkillsElevate blends several Erasmus+ initiatives implemented in Bulgaria with the objective to raise awareness on Erasmus+, showcase recent development and good practices and engage key stakeholders in the future activities.

The flagship initiatives presented during the event will be the CoVE BuildSkills Academy and the Construction Blueprint II projects focused on urgent transitional (green and digital) skills for the construction sector. The context will be additionally enriched with the presentation of several other Erasmus+ initiatives with wider scope in the green and digital skills – MASTERY (a Forward-Looking project on application of micro-credentials for green skills), CERES (an Alliance for Innovation in circular economy education),  GreenBridge (Capacity Building project in the field of VET excellence for green and digital skills) and Circle (Cooperation Partnership in School Education on circular innovation and entrepreneurship).  

Through discussions and participatory approaches, the event will nurture the active dialogue among the key stakeholders on the path forward of how to elevate skills for sustainable and competitive growth in the Bulgarian context.
