The event will be divided into three thematic areas, one for each subject area, with a route that simulates a ‘sea voyage’.

Nautical Area – Maritime law and safety at sea

• Illustrative panels on navigation law, international regulations (SOLAS, IMO) and seafarers’ rights.

• Exhibition table with nautical instruments, maps and maritime signage (including student creations).

• Demonstration videos or simulations of vehicle maintenance/naval safety.

• Mini interactive workshop: “Can you read maritime signals?” with multilingual quiz (Italian/English).

Tourism Area – Migration and cultural traces

• Collection of stories and testimonies of peoples who arrived on the island by sea (local sources, articles, photographic archives).

• Panels in Italian and English with poems, stories and newspaper articles written by students.

• Interactive map of migration flows with QR codes linked to short videos made by the students.
• Space to display cultural products (food, music, clothing, words of foreign origin that have entered local usage).

Social and Health Area – Reception and assistance

• Bilingual information panels on fundamental human rights: the right to life, health and reception.

• Reconstruction of a first aid point: simulation of medical kits, psychological support materials, posters with welcome phrases in several languages.

• Role play in English: students act out the moment of welcoming a sailor, with simple dialogues (questions about health, basic needs).

Common and creative elements
• Final performance (small flash mob or choral reading): texts chosen by students on the sea, travel, rights.

• Collective art installation: a symbolic boat built with recycled materials, on which each student leaves a “message in a bottle” about the meaning of the sea as a bridge of rights.

• Digital part: creation of an online gallery (photos, videos, multilingual materials) to give visibility to the event also on Erasmus+ channels.

• The nautical course focuses on maritime law and safe navigation.

• The tourism course highlights the cultural heritage left by migration.

• The social and health care course focuses on reception and assistance.
