Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast
An event dedicated to sustainability and young people on the World Food Day
Milan, 16th of October 2025
On the World Food Day, and at the end of the YEL – Youth Energy Labs project, Legambiente Lombardia is organizing an event to explore the topic sustainable good and the choices that people can make to reduce good’s environmental and social impact.
The event is aimed at young people as well as youth workers, trainers and staff of organizations working with young people.
Programme:
A workshop on the topic of sustainable food, with non-formal education methodologies, to discover the impacts of food, what the food supply chain entails, and what we can do to become more conscious consumers
Opportunities for discussion, debate and exchange of good practices.
Screening of the videos developed by the young people coming from YEL partner countries (Italy, Greece, Latvia and Spain)
