Rural Woman of the Year – Leader

The competition Rural Woman of the Year – Leader celebrates and recognizes women living in rural areas who actively contribute to public life and community development. Organized since 2002, it highlights women in categories such as activist, politician, entrepreneur, craftswoman, as well as those with long-term contributions to rural life.

This year, the award ceremony will take place during an international conference with participants from several countries. As part of the event, we will also present Erasmus+ projects implemented by our organizations, linking rural development with European cooperation. The event is organized by the Slovak Rural Parliament in cooperation with the Rural Youth Parliament of Slovakia and the municipality of Župčany.
