Road to Lesbos

Road to Lesbos is a collaborative run to symbolically cover the distance between Hospitalet and Kalloni, which is about 2,100 km.
Of course, we won’t do it all at once, but progressively over several weeks. Our plan is that the 4th ESO students (15 years old), who will be involved in a mobility to Lesbos this next spring, will use their physical education classes to run Half the distance between Hospitalet and Kalloni. Each student’s distance will be added to the group total (we’ll use the app Strava). In this way, our 90 students of 4th ESO will cover approximately half of the distance (a little more or less, depending on the results).

At the same time, Th Greek students will also participate in the same way, running during PE lessons and adding up their distances. Together, the two schools will cover the 2,100 km that separate Hospitalet and Kalloni.

We think this initiative will be a meaningful and fun way to connect our students and celebrate the Erasmus days.
