An online meeting will be held as part of the READY4DISasters Erasmus+ KA220 Project titled “Resilient Communities Through Awareness and Preparedness Against the Risks of Fire, Flood, and Landslide.” This project, coordinated by Gebze Technical University in collaboration with several partners, aims to enhance public awareness and preparedness for natural disasters through the development of digital tools, educational resources, and a mobile game. The project focuses on building community resilience by supporting citizens and volunteers in acquiring key competencies in disaster management. During the meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 14:15 to 14:45 (GMT+03, Istanbul Time), the project team will present the project’s progress, including the learning materials and mobile game developed as part of the initiative. These resources are designed to help local communities and volunteers understand the risks associated with fire, floods, and landslides, and how to effectively prepare for and respond to such disasters.
