This training activity is part of the Erasmus+ project I CO-COPE (Inclusion through Interprofessional Collaboration in a Community of Practice in Education ). The aim of I CO-COPE is to promote inclusion in secondary schools by using a specific approach – Communities of Practice (CoP) – to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard, the voices of teachers, paraprofessionals, professionals from other fields like psychologists, social workers, … and students. Four countries collaborate in this project: Portugal, Austria, Belgium and Slovakia. Teachers and project team members of all four countries participate in the three-day training activity to gain knowledge about the key concepts inclusion, interprofessional collaboration, students’ agency and CoP and to prepare themselves for the implementation of Communities of Practice in their schools.
