Paws & Values

On 17 October 2025, our school will celebrate Erasmus Days with a special event we call “Paws & Values.” The project brings together empathy, sustainability, and creativity in a way that shows how even small acts can inspire a better future.
During the week leading up to the event, the school will organise a cat food donation for the local cat shelter Mačacia kaviareň. In lessons, children will prepare cat-themed drawings, posters, facts, and poems in English to be displayed in a colourful exhibition.
The celebration will culminate in a school exhibition and an interactive talk with a guest from the cat shelter, who will bring a cat, share stories, raise awareness, and answer pupils’ questions. Pupils will officially hand over the donated food as a gesture of solidarity and kindness.
As a Green School, we will also host a Green Café, serving herbal water prepared from our own school garden – a symbol of sustainability and respect for nature.
The project will continue with a visit to the shelter, where pupils will see first-hand how their support makes a real difference.
Through “Paws & Values,” our school community will show that by helping animals, caring for nature, and working together, we truly live our values and inspire our shared future.
