My project was accredited by the Erasmus Project Department in Directorate of National Education in Balıkesir. Under the project, I went to Salerno, Italy in April 2024 with eight teacher friends. We visited the schools there. We observed Italia teacher’s workplace and role as a teacher in the class, which is job shadowing. And also we observed the students. While observing the children’s work, we had the opportunity to compare it with the works our own students and the classroom environment. We recorded videos and took photos of the works of students and the material which is used in the class. That was a very exciting experience. Transferring this excitement to our students would make this work even more enjoyable. In this context, we will share the photos we took with our students and give detailed information about Erasmus. Afterwards, we want to make another activity with our students. We will ask the students that question : ‘ if you had chance to take part in such a project, what would you do or play with your classmates in an European school?” and they will be asked to draw a picture of the image in their mind. An exhibition will be organized with paintings of the students. With that activity, we aim to raise awareness of Erasmus among our students and teachers.
