Colegio Juan Ramón Jiménez. Cieza. Murcia.

Among the program priorities for the development of Erasmus Days, the following values will be promoted:
-Inclusion and diversity
-Environment and the fight against climate change.
All primary and secondary school students will participate.
Themed classrooms (The Flavors of Europe) will be created.
A tour of different classrooms will also be held, including a sports room and a music room.
Students in 6th grade of Primary school and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of Secondary school will create digital presentations of different countries (illustrations, explanations, music, etc.), especially those of our partners with whom we have worked and continue to work on our Erasmus+ program. These presentations will feature products from the primary sector: agriculture and livestock, also taking into account the environmental project we are working on at the school, “Heroes of the Countryside.” Furthermore, within our Erasmus projects, we work on the environment and combat climate change. With all of this, we establish a common thread to be able to spread the word during the Erasmus Days week.
In addition to continuing to work on rural heroes, the primary school students will help decorate the themed classrooms using recycled materials. Two or three products per country are selected. Our integration and diversity students will also participate in the development and preparation of the interactive activities, games and etc.
On the day of the activities, each classroom will prepare a theme (Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Irland, Norway, and the Netherlands). Secondary school students will demonstrate and explain the themes to the primary school students, who will then have to answer questions, interactive activities, games etc.
In the sports classroom, computers will be provided where students will search for national football teams, their members, and their origins.
In the music classroom, secondary school students will play a piece of music from a specific country, and primary school students will have to find out the composer and the country of origin.
Additionally, during the Erasmus Days, our characters, Charlotte the Blob, Captain Peach, and others, will be visiting the different classrooms and helping with the activities.
Objective of the activities:
Our students value the importance of sustainable products, responsibility, environmental stewardship, and a sense of belonging to Europe. They learn about the values of other countries, which we share.
How is climate change influencing the production of these products? How can we help mitigate it?
The wide diversity of players from other countries within a specific country’s national sports team.
