Let’s Get to Know Erasmus Countries: Intercultural Sharing Event

Purpose of the Event: To raise awareness, interest and curiosity towards different cultures by enabling students to get to know the countries included in the Erasmus program; and also to contribute to their personal development.

Event Description:
In this event, which will be organized within the scope of Erasmus Days, a short presentation will be made to introduce the countries included in Erasmus to students. After the presentation, students will choose the Erasmus country that interests them the most and share a cultural, artistic, historical or gastronomic element of that country in the classroom. Sharing can be in the form of a visual, verbal or digital presentation.
Activity Outcomes:
Students can define at least 3 Erasmus countries with their basic characteristics.

Students share information about the country they choose.

Students’ sensitivity to cultural differences increases.

Students’ self-confidence and presentation skills develop.

Their motivation to participate in Erasmus increases.
