FUTURE IS IN OUR HANDS

This school year, we want to become part of the Erasmus community. On October 14, 2025, our Private Gymnasium Železiarne Podbrezová will participate in the international initiative ErasmusDays.

We aim to inspire our surroundings and the wider world. Therefore, we will present ourselves through the Green Erasmus+ concept and organize several meaningful activities under the motto: “The future is in our hands.”

What to expect:

School SWAP of clothes, fashion accessories, and books, combined with a short lecture on recycling and sustainability.

Discussion and activity with the guidebook “Landscape, Trees & Us”, where students will learn about the importance of different tree species for ecosystem stability, mitigating the effects of climate change, and improving air quality. Through an outdoor sketching session (plein air), students can create a field journal entry directly from the terrain.

Autumn cleaning of the school grounds and polluted areas around Lopej, contributing to our local community.

Care for school plants, giving them a new life.

Through these activities, we want to celebrate the Erasmus+ program, showcase our school, and promote environmental awareness. We hope our activities will inspire others. 🌍💚
