Organized by the Asociația Pro Dezvoltare DACIA (APDD) in partnership with Suțești Secondary School

Event Goal:
To bring Europe closer to children, youth, and adults through an interactive day dedicated to education, inclusion, volunteering, and European cooperation, where play and learning blend naturally.
The event promotes:
• APDD Youth Accreditation Projects – “Sustainability Education and Ecological Development for Societies (SEEDS)”, “Ecological Action for a Cleaner Tomorrow (ECO-ACT)”, and “Learning, Engaging, Acting for Democracy (LEAD)”;
• Adult Education initiatives – the “European Training 5” program and international courses held in 2025;
• ESC Volunteering Projects and the contribution of international volunteers – “Start ESC: Green and Inclusive Volunteering”, “Start ESC: Employment and Sustainable Development”, “Start ESC: Engagement and Community Impact”;
• and Erasmus+ KA2 School Projects implemented by Șuțești Secondary School, completed in 2025, enhancing cooperation and educational innovation.
Concept:
A day full of fun, educational, and intercultural activities, where children, teachers, youth, and volunteers from various countries experience core European values: solidarity, diversity, lifelong learning, and international friendship.
EVENT STRUCTURE
1. Opening: “Hello, Erasmus!”
• Greetings in multiple languages, led by international volunteers.
• Icebreaker: “Find Your Country Buddy” – find your match by European flags.
• Short presentation about Erasmus+ and ESC projects run by APDD and the school.
2. Interactive Workshops – “European Corners”
Corner 1: Discover Europe!
• Flag hunt and mini quiz about European countries and Erasmus projects.
• Video presentation of APDD and school project results.
Corner 2: Green & Inclusive Challenges
• Environmental and inclusion-themed games (eco-sorting, creative recycling).
• Volunteer-led workshop: “What can we do for our planet?”
Corner 3: Art for Solidarity
• Collaborative collage “We are Europe”, inspired by volunteering projects.
• Drawings on “Friendship without Borders” and “Education for All”.
Corner 4: Languages & Connections
• Language games (mime, word guessing in other languages).
• Mini language lessons – each volunteer teaches simple words in their native tongue.
Corner 5: Cooperation Games
• Team-building activities: “Blind Rope”, “Team Tower”, “Bridge of Solidarity”.
• Final message: “Together we build Europe.”
3. Closing Ceremony – “Erasmus Flashmob & Celebration”
• Group dance led by international volunteers.
• Symbolic awards: “European Team”, “Eco Heroes”, “Erasmus+ Spirit”.
• Official group photo and video moment.
4. Erasmus+ Exhibition and Info Stand
• Materials from APDD youth, adult education, and ESC projects;
• Posters and results from KA2 projects of Șuțești School;
• “Info Erasmus” corner with presentations on how to become an Erasmus+ participant or volunteer.
