Varazdin County

Varaždin County, in cooperation with Ms. Ana Marketin-Sedlar, a professional advisor for mechanical engineering subjects and an eTwinning ambassador, is organizing a panel discussion titled:
“A Life-Changing Experience: Erasmus Opportunities and Perspectives.”
eTwinning is a platform within the Erasmus+ programme, the largest programme of the European Union in the field of education, training, youth, and sport. It serves as a highly useful tool for finding partners, exchanging experiences, and more.
In addition to the general part (Erasmus+ programme and eTwinning), participants will have the opportunity to hear concrete experiences from schools:

Secondary School of Mechanical Engineering and Transport Varaždin – presented by Ms Marketin-Sedlar (general part about Erasmus+ and eTwinning) and Ms Mirela Pocrnić, Erasmus+ mobility project coordinator
One primary school that has implemented an Erasmus project
One secondary school with dual accreditation (Erasmus accreditation for general education and vocational education and training), whose experiences will be presented by Brankica Vrček (general education accreditation) and Ivana Meštrić (vocational education and training accreditation) from the School of Economics Varaždin
Medical School Varaždin, which will present its experiences as a school that has recently started implementing Erasmus projects

Finally, students from First Gymnasium Varaždin will share their experiences from a student’s perspective, under the theme:
“What I brought home that didn’t fit in my suitcase – My Erasmus Story.”
On the same day, in front of the County Palace, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, an information stand will be set up, showcasing materials about the Erasmus+ programme, as well as promotional and informational materials about Erasmus projects implemented by schools in Varaždin County. The goal is to inform the wider public about the activities carried out and thereby contribute to the visibility of the schools/faculties and the projects themselves.
School representatives will also bring project banners, which will be displayed at the event, further contributing to the visibility and sustainability of the projects and promoting the Erasmus+ programme as a whole.
