“Cod-Eng” Competence

Our school is a concorsium member of MEM ( Manisa Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü ) Accreditation. We created a project in which we try to teacn Coding and English together as a interdiciplinary way. Students creat Cod-Eng competence for words in English. On the screen the competence only see the definition of the English word in English and hexagon boxes for each letter of the word. The competents may ask for a letter and it shows up in one of the hexagons. Each letter has defined points. So if the competent asks for letters, s/he loses points. Each competent tries to guess the correct word without asking letters/ asking less letters. This competence screen is coded by our students and the context is also prepared our students on duty.
