I) Blackout project
As part of the Blackout Project, taking place from October 14 to 16, one of our eighth-grade classes, along with a class of the same age from a Polish and a German school, will attempt to live without electricity for three days.
The idea for the project was born during the “Future Thinking: An Essential Life Skill for Students” course held in Lisbon this summer. Our goal is to prepare for a possible situation in which we might face a long-term power outage, similar to the blackout in April that affected Portugal and Spain.
During the project, students are encouraged not to use electrical devices, allowing us to observe how significant a role electricity plays in our daily lives. Teachers of the participating classes will also join the initiative by conducting analogue lessons instead of digital ones.
Ultimately, we hope that through this project, both our students and we as educators will become better prepared to handle a potential prolonged power outage in the future.
The other two participating schools are: Społeczna Szkoła Podstawowa nr 14 im. Dzieci Zjednoczonej Europy STO from Warsaw and Tesla-Gemeinschaftsschule, Berlin.
II) Dissemination
School staff and students share best practice and other experiences learnt in Erasmus+ mobilities.
I) Október 14-16 között, nyolcadikos diákok Európa három különböző általános iskolájában megpróbálnak villamos áram nélkül élni. A projekt ötlete 2025 nyarán a lisszaboni “Future Thinking: An Essential Life Skill for Students” Erasmus+ kurzuson született meg, az Ibériai-félszigetet áprilisban sújtó áramszünetre reagálva. A kezdeményezés célja, hogy felkészítsük a diákokat egy esetleges hasonló eseményre, ill. szembesítsük őket annak hatásaival. A diákok (lehetőleg szüleik támogatásával) és a tanárok megpróbálják kiiktatni az életükből az elektromos áram használatát 3 napra, remélve, hogy ezáltal jobban kezelnek majd egy esetlegesen bekövetkező hasonló történést.
II) Disszemináció
Iskolai értekezlet és osztályfőnöki órák alatt az iskolai dolgozók és diákok változatos formában mutatják be, mivel gyarapodtak az Erasmus+ mobilitások alatt. Lesz ppt-prezentáció, jó gyakorlat megosztása, műhelymunka a .
