Be another European for a week!

Luis de Góngora Secondary School, which is the only one with both Bilingual English and French Programmes in the whole
eastern school district of the Region of Madrid, aims at the educational centre to be conceived as an inclusive space where all students are the protagonists of their learning process.
Each ESO group will be assigned a country that is part of the Erasmus network. Each group will create a drawing of the country’s relief on continuous paper, decorating it with phrases in the country’s language, drawings of the country’s monuments, culture, etc. The aim is for students to put themselves, as much as possible, in the shoes of a citizen of that country for 5 days, developing the values of empathy and solidarity among member countries, under the EU motto “united in diversity”.
In addition to this, there will be held some talks about European institutions by Elena Manso Palao (Madrid’s Ambassador for Youth in COE) and students taking part in Erasmus Student Network of Alcalá de Henares.
