Art workshop – Comics for European values

As part of Erasmus Week, we will host a collaborative art workshop that brings together 10 students from our partner Erasmus school, from a nearby village, Nuštar, Primary school Zrinskih, and 10 of our own students. Working side by side, the participants will explore creativity, teamwork, and shared identity through the medium of comics.
The theme of the workshop will be European values – such as democracy, equality, freedom, rule of law, human rights. Guided by teachers, students will brainstorm storylines and characters that reflect these principles, and then illustrate them in the form of a comic strip.
The aim of the activity is not only to develop artistic and storytelling skills but also to encourage reflection on what unites us as Europeans. By the end of the workshop, students will present their finished comics, celebrating both their unique perspectives and the values that connect us all.
