Presentation about Plastic Wastes A presentation about platic wastes and their harmful effects on the environment will be made. Solutions to reduce plastic wastes will be discussed. Marine Plasticology Activity Primary School (2nd-4th grade) studens will recognise how human activity interferes with the ocean (pollution, changes in coastal areas and rivers, etc.). They are expected to understand what marine plasticology is; explain the importance of the OCEAN for ALL; explain how plastic enters the marine environment and the consequences of this invasion; infer the type of rubbish existing on Portuguese beaches (quantities and decomposition time); understand the notion of oceanic gyre; infer the way plastics (micro, nano) enter the food chain. Transformation of Plastic Waste into Art Students will create different objects using waste plastic wastes in a workshop. Project Song “Leave Nothing Behind” Students will learn the lyrics of the project song and also how to sing the song.
