Applying STEm in English Lesson

In an increasingly interconnected world, it is undeniably important that language teaching should be influenced by other academic subjects that allow students use their knowledge from the technology and scientific field and link it to their literacy skills.

A STEM technology is incorporated in an English lesson in which students recycle vocabulary related to food and health (by watching a video related to modern eating habits and their effects on well-being), do research, find solutions, take decisions alongside with using Math skills (by counting calories, choose proper aliments) and creating their own healthy lifestyle advice pamphlets with Canva App, thus making use of their computer abilities.
