Theatre Interpretation Class – for Erasmus Days

As part of Erasmus Days 2025, we invite you to experience the “Interpretação” (Acting/Interpretation) class with second-year students from the Basic Theatre Course at the Conservatório de Música de Jobra (CMJ).
This session offers a unique look at the creative and technical process behind theatrical interpretation. Guided by their teacher Profª Cristina Viera, the students will explore presence, gesture, voice, and emotional expression — all essential tools for building characters and engaging an audience. Part of their weekly training, the students reflect the hands-on, collaborative approach of Jobra’s performing arts education. It’s an excellent opportunity to witness young talents in development and to connect with the power of theatre as a tool for communication, empathy, and cultural exchange.
