Art Theatre Music for Mental Health (ATM) is a youth exchange project that brings together young people from Türkiye, Spain, Iceland, Lithuania, and the Netherlands to explore how art, theatre, and music can support mental health and emotional expression. The project takes place in Batman, Türkiye, and focuses on promoting inclusion, creativity, and psychological well-being through non-formal education.
During the Erasmus Days celebration, participants and youth workers will showcase the results of one week of artistic and emotional learning. The activities include creative writing, expressive arts, improvisational theatre, mindful movement, and photography for emotional insight. Young people will perform short plays and music pieces that express personal experiences and emotions, emphasizing how art can be used as a tool for healing and social connection.
The event also promotes intercultural dialogue and European values by encouraging participants to share their stories and mental health perspectives across cultures. Through reflection sessions and Youthpass ceremonies, participants gain confidence, empathy, and a sense of belonging to the wider European community. This Erasmus Days event highlights the power of creativity and cooperation to improve young people’s mental well-being and to strengthen solidarity in Europe.
