As part of the Erasmus Days celebration, our round table talk focuses on the theme “Democracy as a Universal Value of the World: Adapting Western Democratic Practices to Ukrainian Realities.” The program highlights the historical background of democracy as the core European value, exploring whether democracy can be “measured” in modern contexts. Special attention is given to Ukraine’s unique path to democracy, reflecting on both achievements and challenges. Finally, the discussion outlines Ukraine’s current democratic practices and presents perspectives for its future development in line with European values.
