ARTE Education
We are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Artjacking for a better world,” created by French and Spanish students from the Lycée des métiers d’Art Toulouse-Lautrec in Bordeaux, the Lycée polyvalent Cantau in Anglet, and the EASDi in Corella. This cooperation project, funded by Erasmus+ and coordinated by ARTE Education, the educational subsidiary of the European channel ARTE, illustrates the commitment and creativity of young European artists. Since September 2024, 76 students from art schools have collaborated to create socially engaged artworks and art books, reinterpreting European artistic heritage in light of major contemporary social and environmental issues. The exhibition will showcase a selection of these creations, accompanied by photographs retracing the highlights of this European adventure.
The opening will take place on Tuesday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Mériadeck library in Bordeaux. Guided tours of the exhibition will be organized by the students. The exhibition will then be open to visitors until November 3rd.
