Bridges of Friendship: A Journey Across Europe in One Day

During #ErasmusDays 2025, our school will host an engaging Countries Fair, welcoming students, teachers, parents, and community guests to explore Europe’s diverse cultures without leaving campus.

Each class or student group will “adopt” a European country and design an interactive stand featuring that nation’s flag, colors, and cultural symbols.

Throughout the day, visitors will:

Taste small samples of traditional foods researched and prepared by students,

Enjoy music playlists and short live performances from the represented countries,

Learn basic greetings, kind phrases, and idioms through mini language lessons,

Discover history, traditions, and everyday life via presentations and visual displays,

Join in traditional games or dances unique to each culture.

This celebration promotes cultural exchange, learning, and kindness, inviting all participants to engage with curiosity and respect. It embodies the Erasmus+ values of tolerance, solidarity, and inclusion, demonstrating how understanding and appreciating different cultures strengthens our shared European identity and fosters global friendship.

By the end of the fair, participants will have picked up new words in various languages, encountered fresh tastes and sounds, and experienced the joy of working together across differences, in other words an experience at the heart of Erasmus+.
