As part of the Erasmus Days, the University College of Teacher Education Burgenland aims to make the internationalization of our institution visible and tangible. Our goal is to introduce students, lecturers, and administrative staff to the diverse opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme and to further strengthen the international orientation of our university.
A central part of our programme consists of presentations in various courses. Here, we present the aims and opportunities of Erasmus+, provide information about study abroad options, internships, and training opportunities for all members of our academic community. By integrating these sessions into regular teaching, we reach a wide audience and are able to respond directly to questions. We want to highlight the added value of international mobility, both for personal development and for the overall quality of teaching and research.
In addition, we are setting up a multimedia information booth in the foyer of the University College of Teacher Education Burgenland. Equipped with posters, flyers, digital presentations, and testimonials, it will serve as a lively hub where visitors can learn about opportunities, application deadlines, and partner institutions. The booth is designed to spark curiosity, provide orientation, and encourage members of our community to plan their own international experiences.
We place particular emphasis on personal exchange. During the Erasmus Days, we will be available for individual consultations at any time. Students can receive advice on concrete next steps, while lecturers and administrative staff gain insights into their own mobility opportunities or potential cooperation projects. In this way, we create an open platform to further develop the international dimension of our university together.
Our Erasmus Days programme therefore actively contributes to the objectives of Erasmus+ by promoting mobility, international cooperation, and intercultural learning, and by embedding these values firmly in our university culture.
