Your Voice, Our Future: Supporting Youth and Student Councils

“Your Voice, Our Future” is an international Erasmus+ training course designed to revitalize and modernise youth participation structures across Europe. The event brings together 40 professional and voluntary youth workers from 10 partner organizations to equip them with innovative tools to make municipal youth councils and student parliaments more inclusive, digitally relevant, and psychologically safe.

Using non-formal education methodologies, the training focuses on three core dimensions:
Digital Democracy: Embracing hybrid consultation tools and e-voting applications to engage “digital native” youth.
Safety & Radical Inclusion: Developing trauma-informed facilitation practices to create emotionally safe spaces for marginalized and vulnerable groups, such as rural youth and refugees.
Arts-Based Facilitation: Utilizing non-verbal, creative methods (visual facilitation, theatre, and gamification) to lower language and cultural barriers in advocacy work.
Participants will engage in interactive workshops, study visits to local councils, and a comprehensive “Council Simulation Game”. The ultimate goal of the mobility is the collaborative co-creation of a digital “Council Starter Kit,” compiling at least 8 transferable, tested methods to empower youth workers to build sustainable, youth-led civic platforms back in their local communities.
