Workshop: Sustainability in the Classroom

As part of the Erasmus Days, the IES José Luis Sampedro is organizing a hands-on workshop led by El Rincón Lento, aimed at Vocational Education students. This activity promotes sustainability, one of the core principles of the Erasmus+ programme.
During the workshop, students will explore the environmental impact of conventional hygiene products and discover sustainable, natural alternatives through the handmade production of solid shampoo. The session will highlight how these products help reduce plastic waste, lower environmental impact, and encourage more responsible consumption.
Through participatory activities, students will reflect on their role as agents of change in the ecological transition, both in their daily lives and future professional contexts. The workshop will also address ways to integrate sustainability initiatives into the Vocational Education curriculum and show how Erasmus+ can support innovative environmental projects across Europe.
