Workshop: Sustainability in project work

This year, our Erasmus Days workshop focuses on one of the key Erasmus+ priorities: environmental sustainability.

Between “I want to do everything right” and “It’s too late anyway” lies a rather narrow path. That is exactly what our full-day workshop in Eupen will explore on Friday, 16 October 2026.

We will start with a curious and critical look at the past: Which social and economic developments have shaped the ecological situation we face today? From there, we will turn to the practical side of sustainability. How can we navigate between ecological perfectionism, resignation and eco-anxiety – both in our personal lives and in the projects we develop and implement with others?

The aim is not to achieve the perfect ecological footprint. Instead, we want to explore approaches to sustainability that are realistic, meaningful and applicable in everyday project work.

Alongside expert input, there will be plenty of time for exchange and discussion with other organisations. Share experiences, learn from each other and take away new perspectives and ideas for your own work.

Who is the workshop for?
The workshop is aimed at anyone working in the fields of education, youth or sport, whether or not they already have experience with Erasmus+ or the European Solidarity Corps. No prior knowledge of sustainability is required – curiosity and an interest in the topic are enough.
