“Travel. Learn. Change. Our Erasmus – Your Inspiration.”
October 15th marks our Erasmus Day—a special event dedicated to European education, international friendship, experiential learning, and the opportunities the Erasmus+ program opens up for young people.
Under the motto “Travel. Learn. Change. Our Erasmus – Your Inspiration,” project participants and students who took part in the international mobility program at the Istituto Manzoni in Suzzara, Italy, will share their experiences with the school community and their younger peers.
During the event, they will recount the project’s entire journey—from the initial idea and the Erasmus+ application process to the decisions made, the preparation, the execution of the international mobility, and the results achieved.
We will learn more about:
how to apply for an Erasmus+ project;
how students prepare for international mobility;
what it is like to study and work with peers from another European country;
what the participants learned and experienced during their time in Italy;
what new skills they acquired;
how friendships and international connections are formed;
how Erasmus+ fosters civic engagement and youth participation;
how European democratic values—tolerance, respect, solidarity, equality, and active citizenship—can become part of our daily lives. Participants will share their personal stories, impressions, and experiences, demonstrating that Erasmus+ is far more than just a travel opportunity. It is a chance to explore a new culture, transcend boundaries, communicate in a foreign language, build friendships, gain confidence, and discover new opportunities for themselves.
A special place in the program is reserved for conversations and inspiring meetings with younger students. Participants will answer questions, share their experiences, and encourage the students to be active, curious, and bold in seeking out new opportunities.
The project results and the materials created by the students will also be presented, and participants will be awarded certificates of participation.
Come and get inspired!
