Unlock Europe!

From 13 to 16 October, Unlock Europe! takes all the students of Institut Torrent de les Bruixes (Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Spain) on a journey through Europe without leaving school. Each class team receives an Erasmus Passport and must collect three stamps:

“Where we’ve been” map. An exhibition with photos and stories from our school’s Erasmus+ mobilities.
Multilingual escape room. Mixed teams unlock challenges set in our partner countries, using maths, science, digital skills and clues written in English, French, German and the home languages of our families, such as Urdu, Arabic and Punjabi. Every language in the team counts.
Photocall and greetings wall. Each student writes “hello” in their own language and the team takes its arrival photo.

Student Erasmus Ambassadors, including former mobility participants, guide the activities. Team photos are added to the map throughout the week, so it grows into a picture of who we are. In line with this year’s theme, “Learning and growing: skills for tomorrow”, the event celebrates our linguistic diversity as a real skill for the future and makes Erasmus+ visible to students, families and the local community.
