The Mathematics of Reality is on STEAM – Erasmus+ in Action.

The Erasmus Days event “The Mathematics of Reality is on STEAM – Erasmus+ in Action” will showcase the activities, experiences and results of our Erasmus+ project through an interactive exhibition and a hands-on STEAM workshop.

The exhibition will present project activities and outcomes from the Erasmus+ mobilities in Romania and Italy, including students’ products, photos, Zero-Energy House models, digital resources, virtual exhibitions and other educational materials. Visitors will also be invited to explore the project website and discover how mathematics can be connected with energy, engineering, technology, art and everyday life.

As part of the event, students will participate in the “Pythagorean Tree” STEAM workshop, inspired by an activity experienced during the Erasmus+ mobility in Italy. They will first explore the mathematical construction using GeoGebra and then create their own Pythagorean Trees from paper, combining geometry, digital skills, creativity and art.

The Erasmus Days celebration will take place simultaneously in Romania and Türkiye. Our project partner in Türkiye will present the project during an Erasmus Days event organised in cooperation with Necmettin Erbakan University, while the Romanian school will organise its own Erasmus Days activities within the school community. By celebrating Erasmus Days at the same time in both partner countries, we will increase the visibility of the project and share its activities and results with different educational communities.

Students and teachers involved in Erasmus+ activities will share their experiences, promote project results and demonstrate how learning experiences gained through international mobilities can be transferred into classroom practice and shared with the wider educational community.
