The Hairdresser of Tomorrow – Skills for Tomorrow

Through a short live hairdressing demonstration on a training mannequin, students will showcase practical hairdressing techniques while highlighting some of the key skills required by tomorrow’s professionals: creativity, teamwork, communication, adaptability and the effective use of technology.

Special emphasis will be placed on the students’ Erasmus+ mobility experience in Portugal, where they had the opportunity to work in a real professional environment, become familiar with new techniques and working practices, and develop both vocational and personal competences.

By combining a practical demonstration with the students’ own experiences and testimonies, the activity will show how Erasmus+ supports vocational education and helps young people develop the confidence, professional skills and adaptability they need for their future careers.

The activity will also be recorded in order to support the dissemination of the Erasmus+ mobility experience and its learning outcomes.
