The European Union : Diversity and Unity
As part of this year’s 10th edition of the Erasmus Days, we are organising a range of activities at our school. We have chosen “Diversity and Unity” as the theme of this year’s event.
To showcase the diversity of European countries, students from our European Section will create an exhibition about different European countries, which will be displayed in the school library and accompanied by a fun quiz: “Which European country are you made for?”
To showcase the school’s Erasmus+ mobility experiences, an exhibition featuring photos from our most recent group mobility to a partner school in Germany will also be on display. It will include texts written by the students themselves each evening during their stay, giving visitors an insight into their experiences and reflections throughout the mobility.
On Tuesday, a fun and interactive activity led by a Europe Direct representative will take place in the school hall. Students will be invited to explore a giant map of Europe and take part in a quiz featuring questions about European geography, culture and traditions.
Themed meals will also be served in the school canteen throughout the week, giving students the opportunity to discover different European countries through their food and culinary traditions.
To highlight the importance of unity among European countries, a Europe Direct exhibition entitled “The European Union: Why? How?” will be on display in the school hall throughout the week.
Finally, posters will be displayed throughout the school corridors to raise awareness of the event and encourage students and staff to take part in the various activities.
