The Army at School – Learning about Responsibility, Cooperation and Active Citizenship

Through the participation of Army representatives in an educational activity at school, we aim to develop students’ civic, social and personal competences while promoting responsibility, discipline, mutual respect and teamwork.
The activity contributes to fostering a responsible attitude towards the community, helping students understand the role of public institutions and developing their communication, collaboration and decision-making skills. Furthermore, the meeting provides an opportunity to explore educational and career pathways and highlights the importance of transferable skills across different professional fields.
In line with the Erasmus Days 2026 theme, “Learning and growing: Skills for tomorrow,” the activity promotes experiential learning and the development of skills needed to help young people become responsible, independent and actively engaged citizens.
