TEMETHES / CUL UCU – Stories Return to the Community

TEMETHES / CULUCU Meets Trapani is an open Erasmus+ Days event organised within TEMETHES / CULUCU – Tell Me the Story / Cuntami lu Cuntu, an Erasmus+ KA153 Mobility of Youth Workers – Partnership Building Activity involving experienced youth workers and youth leaders from different Euro-Mediterranean countries.

The event will not simply present project results. Through interactive activities, thematic tables, testimonies and open discussion, participants will stimulate dialogue around the needs, opportunities and potential of the local territory, also looking at Trapani through the perspectives of international youth workers.

Part of the activities developed and tested during the project, including those involving local students, may be shared or replicated as practical examples of how cultural heritage, storytelling, arts, inclusion, diversity and intercultural learning can become tools for youth work and community engagement.

A specific space will also be dedicated to the local institutional and territorial dimension of the project. Local authorities, stakeholders and organisations that have contributed to the implementation of TEMETHES / CULUCU will be invited to take part, including actors connected to the project’s cultural and educational visits to Erice, Segesta and Mozia, together with other local entities supporting its activities and local impact.

The event will therefore create an open space for dialogue, discovery and networking, where citizens, young people, stakeholders and public authorities can meet the participating organisations, ask questions, exchange ideas and discover Erasmus+ opportunities and approaches.

By connecting international youth work, local institutions and the wider community, the event aims to create a space for participation, exchange and co-creation, while showing how Erasmus+ cooperation can strengthen local networks and generate concrete opportunities for future initiatives.
