Sweet Türkiye: A Taste of Turkish Culture

As part of ErasmusDays 2026, Doğuş University will organize an interactive gastronomy activity bringing together Erasmus+ incoming students and members of the university community.

During the activity, participants will have the opportunity to discover Turkish culinary culture through a hands-on experience led by a Gastronomy faculty member. Participants will learn about the cultural background of a traditional Turkish dessert and take part in its preparation.

The event aims to promote intercultural exchange, encourage interaction between international and local students, and provide Erasmus+ students with an opportunity to experience Turkish culture beyond the classroom. Through food, participants will share experiences, learn from one another, and discover how culinary traditions can create connections between different cultures.

The activity supports the spirit of Erasmus+ by bringing students from different backgrounds together through learning, cultural exchange, and active participation.
