As part of the international initiative Erasmus Days 2026, the event “Students and Teachers on Erasmus+ Microphone” will bring together students and teachers from six partner countries participating in the project DIVERSE – Digital Innovation and Versatile Education for a Sustainable Environment. The event will take place on 16 October 2026 at 10:00 CEST (from 10:00 to 11:30) and will focus on presenting project activities, sharing participants’ experiences, and promoting the core values and opportunities of the Erasmus+ programme.

The event will be held online and participants will be able to join via the following link: meet.google.com/tre-ngqo-tjp

The DIVERSE project aims to promote inclusiveness, enhance digital literacy, and foster environmental awareness across six European countries: Croatia, Turkey, France, Italy, Romania, and Portugal. Through innovative digital tools and sustainable educational practices, the project seeks to empower students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by creating a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. In addition, the project is dedicated to equipping students with essential 21st-century skills, improving their academic achievements, and preparing them to become proactive, responsible, and globally aware citizens.

During the event, students and teachers will present various local activities and initiatives implemented within the project. Participants will showcase examples of digital innovation in education, environmental sustainability activities, inclusive teaching practices, workshops, collaborative projects, and creative learning methods developed in their schools and communities. They will also share personal experiences gained through Erasmus+ cooperation, mobility activities, and intercultural collaboration, highlighting the positive impact of international partnerships on both personal and professional development.

“Students and Teachers on Erasmus+ Microphone” will provide a valuable opportunity for dialogue and exchange among young people and educators from different cultural and educational backgrounds. Through presentations, discussions, and shared experiences, participants will demonstrate how Erasmus+ projects contribute to the development of communication skills, creativity, teamwork, digital competences, and environmental responsibility. The event will also emphasize the importance of inclusion, equal opportunities, and active participation in modern education.

As part of Erasmus Days, a worldwide celebration of the Erasmus+ programme, this event highlights the importance of international cooperation in education and the role of schools in shaping innovative, sustainable, and inclusive learning environments. The DIVERSE project reflects a shared commitment to building an education system that responds to contemporary global challenges while promoting solidarity, cultural understanding, and lifelong learning.

By participating in this event, students and teachers will not only present the achievements and results of the project, but also celebrate the values of unity, diversity, sustainability, and European cooperation that Erasmus+ promotes across Europe and beyond.
