SMGE Erasmus Day 2026: One School, One World is a station-based ErasmusDays event organised by the Cinema, Media, Entrepreneurship and eTwinning Club (SMGE) of Cemil Meriç Girls’ Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Istanbul.
The event aims to introduce students aged 14–18 to Erasmus+ and eTwinning opportunities, strengthen their intercultural awareness, develop skills for tomorrow and encourage them to create ideas for future European cooperation.
Using an “Erasmus Passport”, students will rotate through four interactive stations: Culture, Skills for Tomorrow, Media Literacy and European Project Ideas. They will explore school life in different European countries, identify skills they want to develop, analyse media messages and generate ideas that could become future international projects.
The programme will also include an Erasmus Quiz, a ChildLab – Being a Child Around the World corner, short student interviews produced by SMGE TV, and an Erasmus Special Project Acceptance Desk where students can submit international project ideas.
At the end of the event, promising ideas will be reviewed by the SMGE Project Acceptance Desk and suitable ideas may be developed further for future eTwinning and Erasmus+ activities.
Theme: One School, One World – From ideas to stories, from stories to projects.
