SHOREWINNER: Power Your Future

This event is organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ CoVE project SHOREWINNER, which aims to strengthen skills and opportunities in the offshore renewable energy sector across Southern Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Cyprus and Greece).

EPATV proposes to organise a career-oriented activity introducing students in VET – Vocational Education and Training (EQF4) to the diverse opportunities and career pathways emerging in the offshore wind energy sector.

Through a dynamic video presentation, practical examples (placement quizes, career maps, etc.) and recorded and written testimonials from professionals working in the field, which includes (but not limited to) technicians, engineers, marine educators and other specialists, participants will discover different professional roles, the skills required, and the training and career opportunities available in the offshore wind sector. The activity will also highlight the role of vocational education and international cooperation in supporting the green energy transition, important for Europe’s collective goals.

The event aims to raise students’ awareness of the offshore renewable energy sector, broaden their understanding of emerging career opportunities, and inspire them to consider future educational and professional pathways in renewable energy.
