Presentation

The SAFE-D Project Presentation will be organized within the framework of Erasmus Days to promote occupational safety and health (OSH), workplace well-being, ergonomics, and the prevention of work-related risks through innovative education and training approaches. The event will introduce the objectives, activities, achievements, and educational resources developed within the SAFE-D project, highlighting how a safer and healthier working environment can contribute to improved productivity, employee well-being, and organizational sustainability.

During the event, participants will learn about the project’s research findings, needs analysis, training curriculum, guidebooks, toolbox, trainers’ manual, workbook, and practical resources designed to support educators, trainers, employers, employees, and occupational safety professionals. Special attention will be given to the integration of ergonomic principles, risk assessment methodologies, workplace safety culture, and preventive measures that can reduce occupational accidents and work-related health problems.

The presentation will showcase the project’s international cooperation activities, pilot implementations, training experiences, and examples of good practices developed by the consortium. Participants will gain insights into current challenges related to occupational health and safety, the importance of preventive approaches, and the role of education and training in fostering safer workplaces across different sectors.

The event aims to bring together vocational education and training providers, teachers, trainers, students, employers, employees, occupational health and safety experts, researchers, policy makers, and representatives of social partner organizations. It will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss emerging workplace safety challenges, and explore future cooperation opportunities in the fields of occupational health, ergonomics, workplace safety, and skills development.

By participating in Erasmus Days, the SAFE-D Project contributes to the Erasmus+ priorities of social inclusion, lifelong learning, skills development, workplace well-being, and innovation in vocational education and training. The project supports the development of safer, healthier, and more sustainable working environments while strengthening awareness and competencies related to occupational safety and health across Europe.
