πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ RIDE Keeps Rolling: 25 New Bikes for Sustainable Mobility! πŸŒπŸ’š

Our Erasmus+ project RIDE keeps rolling! Launched in 2024, our project continues to promote sustainable mobility, healthy lifestyles and environmental protection.

We are delighted to announce that, in September 2026, RIDE received an award in the 9th edition of the β€œPonte en Marcha” competition, organized by the Regional Government of Andalusia. This award recognizes initiatives that encourage sustainable mobility, healthy habits and care for the environment.

And the best part? The prize is 25 bicycles! πŸš²πŸŽ‰ These bikes will be made available to anyone who wants to cycle to our school, the IES JosΓ© MarΓa Infantes in Utrera, helping our school community choose a healthier and more environmentally friendly way to travel.

To celebrate Erasmus Days on 17 October, we will put our new bicycles to the test by organizing a traditional Critical Mass through the streets of Utrera!

Around 40 students aged 12 to 16, accompanied by their teachers, will take part in this cycling event. Our older students will help guide the younger ones, teaching them how to ride safely around the city and how to share the road responsibly and respectfully with other road users.

We will also stop at the Town Hall to share our commitment to sustainable mobility and ask local authorities for more cycle lanes around our school, making cycling safer and more accessible for everyone.

🚲 Why do we RIDE?

Because cycling means cleaner air, healthier lives, safer streets and a more sustainable future. Through RIDE, we want to show that small changes in our daily journeys can make a big difference.

🌱 This Erasmus Days, we keep rolling towards a greener, healthier and more bike-friendly future!

Join us and be part of the ride! πŸ’šπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ
