The event “Presentation of Accessibility – Supporting Learners with Needs in a Digital World” was organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project Accessibility, Project No. 2021-2-DE02-KA220-VET-000050049.
During the event, the main objectives, activities and outcomes of the project were presented, with special emphasis on the importance of accessibility in vocational education and training. Participants were informed about ways in which digital tools, inclusive teaching practices and accessible educational materials can support learners with different needs and promote equal participation in the learning process.
The presentation highlighted the challenges faced by learners with disabilities or special educational needs in a rapidly changing digital environment. It also underlined the need for schools, teachers and training institutions to create learning environments that are open, supportive and inclusive for all students.
Good practices, project results and examples of accessible digital learning resources were shared with the audience. The event encouraged discussion, awareness and cooperation among educators, students and stakeholders, contributing to the promotion of inclusion, equal opportunities and active participation in education.
Overall, the event successfully raised awareness about accessibility and demonstrated how digital education can become more inclusive, flexible and effective for every learner.
