The 9th Experimental Intercultural Primary School of Ioannina participates in the ErasmusDays with the activity entitled “Our School: A Ship Where Everyone Belongs”, an event dedicated to the values of democracy, inclusion, cooperation and respect for diversity. Through theatrical performances, collaborative activities and creative presentations, students from all grades will highlight the importance of respect, equality, peaceful coexistence and active participation in school life.

The 1st and 2nd grade students will present the theatrical play “All Together in the Same Classroom”, promoting friendship and the joy of coexistence in a multicultural school environment. The 3rd and 4th grade students will present “The Ship of Democracy”, a symbolic journey filled with values such as respect, cooperation, solidarity and acceptance. The 5th grade students will perform a humorous theatrical activity about democracy and cooperation in the classroom, while the 6th grade students will take part in the presentation and coordination of the event, sharing messages about collaboration, active participation and mutual respect.

A particularly important aspect of our event is the participation of students from the 2nd Special School, which shares the same school premises with our school. Their participation strengthens the message of inclusion, acceptance and equal participation of all children in common school activities.

The event is inspired by the experiences and good practices gained through Erasmus+ mobilities, promoting a school open to everyone, where every child has a voice, a place and an active role in the learning process.
