Our Erasmus Stories: The Places that Shaped Us

To mark Erasmus Days 2026, the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the European Union will bring its colleagues together for an internal, informal coffee morning celebrating the experiences and connections created through Erasmus+.

Three colleagues will share short personal reflections on where Erasmus took them, what they experienced and what has stayed with them since. Colleagues will also be invited to add their own Erasmus destination to an interactive map, creating a snapshot of the many journeys and experiences represented across the Permanent Representation.

Over coffee and pastries, the event will celebrate Erasmus+ through the people, places and stories behind the programme.
