Open Day + Didacta 2026 at Střední škola stavební Třebíč

On 15 October 2026, Střední škola stavební Třebíč will open its doors to prospective students, their families and the wider public. The Open Day will take place alongside Didacta 2026, a major regional education fair bringing together secondary schools, students, families and employers.

As part of Erasmus Days, visitors will have the opportunity to discover how Erasmus+ enriches vocational and technical education at our school. Our students and teachers will present their international Erasmus+ experiences, share stories from mobility projects across Europe and show how studying and training abroad helps young people develop professional skills, discover new technologies, improve their language and communication skills, and become more independent and open to other cultures.

We will also present our involvement in the EuroApprentices Network, an international network of young Erasmus+ ambassadors in vocational education and training. We are proud that students from our school regularly become EuroApprentices and take part in international meetings, where they meet young people from other European countries, exchange experiences from their Erasmus+ traineeships and develop their communication and intercultural skills. Their experiences are a valuable source of inspiration for other students considering an Erasmus+ mobility.

Visitors will also be able to explore our classrooms and vocational training workshops and experience modern technologies used in education, including 3D printing and scanning, virtual reality, drones, CNC technology, professional design software and renewable energy technologies.

On Friday, 16 October, the Erasmus Days activities will continue with presentations by students who have completed Erasmus+ traineeships abroad. They will share the results of their mobilities and their personal experiences with their classmates and younger students, giving them first-hand insight into studying and training abroad and encouraging them to take part in future Erasmus+ mobilities.

Through personal encounters and peer-to-peer sharing, we want to show young people that Erasmus+ offers practical opportunities to gain professional experience, develop new skills, discover Europe and become more confident and independent.
